I am writing this in the airport on my way back home after nearly one year of travel. It never ceases to amaze me the scale and depth of our planet and its many cultures.
This particular trip has inspired me to love the world’s coasts and beaches. For many years I was vocally averse to this biome. Sand would latch onto my sticky, sun-screened skin, I would get beet-red within twenty minutes of stepping outdoors, and I was so chronically dehydrated that I would immediately be sapped of all energy the moment I became overheated.
Honestly, so much has changed now that I’ve dramatically shifted my diet and adapted a healthier relationship with nature. I can now enjoy a sunscreen-free adventure into the sun for hours (in peak brightness) without fear or risk of sunburn. I marvel at the ways life constantly glows and adapts to its surroundings.
My plan when I get home is to finish up some video editing projects, and launch The Course of Transformation’s official website. You can click here for a sneak-peek, but know that it is still under construction.
Anyways…I hope you enjoy this week’s {Body} • {Mind} • {Soul} Newsletter and have a beautiful Sunday, - Ethan ॐ
P.S. I’ll be sending you a couple emails in the coming weeks about my posture workshop happening on Saturday, August 9th. I hope you’ll consider joining.

Earth’s magnetic pole shift
Right now — yes…right now, right now — Earth is undergoing a dramatic transformation. Our planet’s magnetic North Pole is moving approximately ~40-60 kilometers per year, shifting from northern Canada toward Siberia at an unprecedented rate.
This isn’t a minor geographical adjustment. Earth is in the early stages of what scientists call a “geomagnetic reversal” — a complete flip where magnetic North and South poles literally switch places. This phenomenon has occurred 183 times in the last 83 million years, and geological evidence suggests we’re overdue for the next one.
To understand why this matters for your body, consider that every cell contains iron and operates through bioelectric processes. You are, essentially, a sophisticated biological compass that has evolved to orient itself to Earth’s magnetic field—just like the migratory animals (birds, whales, sea turtles) who navigate thousands of miles using this same planetary guidance system. Humans aren’t exempt from this biological relationship.
And that’s why this geomagnetic reversal has huge implications for the way you move and operate and think in this world. Imagine a ship captain waking up every day with a slightly different North Star — how difficult it would be to sail straight towards their destination!
You are that ship captain. As we speak, your internal compass is subtly recalibrating to a brand new magnetic orientation. Expect the twists and turns of life to be far more disorienting than they normally are.
Practice Step-by-step instructions to turn theory into healing.
On the Trail of Freedom, some beings must process loads of anger. Others grief. Some pride. For me, it has always been guilt and shame.
I woke up with guilt in this body — a shame that makes me grit my teeth and stamp my eyes. It isn’t just the Judeo-Christian weight of original sin impressed upon me by my culture, either. No, what I’m trying to describe is something much more…honest — this graspless, voiceless sense that I actually f*cked things up.
I’ve sat soberly — side-by-side, hand-in-hand — with these feelings for hundreds of hours. Guilt to me is what I imagine being stuck in an Instant Pot feels like — mounting pressure and heat that cooks the mind from the inside. Shame, on the other hand, seems more like a black hole; it appears as this long, discordant droning sound that suffocates my breath and makes light impossible.
Really moving through and healing these states (that is, truly forgiving yourself) requires a surprising amount of patience and courage. When waves of conscience break on the shores of your mind, it is not as clear-cut as reminding yourself that “All is One” or “I did the best I could”. While obviously true, these affirmations are at first like makeup on an infected wound.
What you did was not okay. It did hurt people. You were not your best self. You must own your decisions and feel the complete pain of their legacy; only then will you be offered the grace which is your birthright.
I wish I had gentler advice to give you, but this has been my experience. I sit and feel and wait. The more I feel, the more I am forgiven. The more I am forgiven, the more I forgive.

“People can tell if you’re there to serve them or to serve yourself.” — Emily Fletcher
Seen for what it is, your physical body is actually the Universe’s most advanced truth-seeking device. Like a metal detector that alerts you of nearby shards of gold, your body pings and sings in the presence of Truth.
As does everyone else’s.
In other words, your motivations and intentions do not happen in the private cave of your brain — they happen on the open playing field of manas, the Mind, for all to witness.
Their eyes see your swerving gaze. Their ears hear your wavering voice. Their nose smells your stress pheromones. In one sense, you’re lucky that others have not fully discovered to their abilities to detect bullshit; otherwise, you’d be utterly incapable of hiding behind your web of lies anymore.
Become impeccable with your character. Watch how those around you can finally relax in your presence, knowing that you have no ulterior motive for your interaction together.
